2 Heaping tsp. oatmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
Mix in a small bowl with enough water to make a paste. Apply to face and rub gently. Rinse with warm water then splash your face with cold water.
Every time you clean your face you should always start with warm water. Warm water opens your pours allowing you to clean them, then when you're done washing your face, rinse it with cold water. Cold water closes your pores =)

Oily Hair Treatment Rinse
You can do this about once a week, once every two weeks or even once a month =) You can find the Rosemary at any health food store you can even find it in your local grocery store in the spices or to use fresh you can find it in the fresh veggie section =)
1/4 cup dried rosemary
1 1/2 cups of water
Simmer the rosemary in the water for 10 minutes. Strain the mixture and throw away the rosemary. Cool and use the liquid and the final rinse after shampooing.
I haven't tried this recipe myself because I actually have the opposite problem but I have a friend that uses this recipe and she really likes the results =)

Hot Oil Treatment for Your Hair
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup boiling water
Place olive oil and boiling water into large glass bottle or jar with a lid. You may need to wrap a towel around the bottle to avoid burning yourself.
Shake very well until oil is emulsified. Massage into hair, taking care not to burn your head.
Put a shower cap or plastic bag over your hair and wrap your head in a hot towel that has been soaked in hot water then wrung out.
Leave mixture on your hair for 1/2 hour, then shampoo as usual.
This is really good for those prone to dandruff as well.

Grated zest of 1 orange
1 tsp. essential orange oil or tee tree oil
Mix the salt with the oil and soap in a glass bowl, and then add the essential oil.
Transfer to a plastic or glass jar.
Use as a body scrub when having a bath or a shower, rinse off with warm water.
This also makes a great little gift!! =)

Homemade Teeth Whitener
Hair Clarifier Recipe
2 TBL shampoo
1 TBL baking soda
While you're in the shower, bring along the box of baking soda with you.
Measure out approximately 1 tablespoon of baking soda and add it to twice as much shampoo in your palm.
Use the shampoo as you would normally, using the pads of your fingertips to give your scalp a thorough massage.
Rinse very well with cool water, and then condition as normal.
I always do this before dying my hair. It removes all build up in your hair and scalp, it's great and makes your hair nice and shiny. After doing these treatment you should do a deep conditioner I highly suggest that because your hair will feel dry after. I use the deep conditioner recipe that I have listed on here.

Deep Conditioning Treatment for Damaged Hair
1/2 cup mayonnaise, MUST BE room temp-and FULL FAT
1/4 cup olive oil
2 egg yolks
Blend all ingredients together in a bowl.
Apply thoroughly through your hair adding extra at the ends.
Pile on top of your head and cover with a plastic shower cap (I just use a Walmart bag) and then cover with a towel to keep in the heat from your head.
Leave on for at least 10-20 minutes and then rinse out.
Do NOT shampoo after wards, just rinse it really well. Do this on a day when you are not going to go out. Any oil that clings to your hair after you rinse it out, will continue to condition your hair until the next time you shampoo it out.
I know this sounds kind of gross to put this stuff in your hair but honestly I have spent so much money on professional conditioner treatments because I dye my hair so often and wish to keep it healthy and this is honestly THE BEST treatment I have used and does the trick better than anything I have ever bought =) My hair looks and feels so GREAT after this. I do it about once every 2 weeks because I use a blow dryer and curling iron often =)

Little Girl's Homemade Hair Detangler
2 cups water
1/4 cup hair conditioner
Mix ingredients well by shaking together in a spray bottle. I just used the one the original came from so there was no mix up of what it was.
Spray hair liberally.
No tangles = no tears. Use more conditioner if needed. Just not too much or it will weigh hair down and may appear dull.
