Ooey Gooey Cookie Bars


Crust

1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup melted butter

Filling


2 cups milk chocolate chips (1 bag)
3 cups mini marshmallows
1 1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz can)

Assemble:

These are SO DARN YUMMY!!!! They look and sound simple but they taste so good!

Mix all of the crust ingredients together EXCEPT the butter.

Last, mix in melted butter with fork. When the butter is incorporated the mixture should resemble small beads.

Place crust mixture into a GREASED 9x13 baking dish. Pat the crust down evenly with your hand or spatula.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the crust.

Next, sprinkle the marshmallows over the chocolate chips.

Next, sprinkle coconut over marshmallows, then the chopped nuts.

Press layers down with your hands or spatula.

Last pour the sweetened condensed milk EVENLY over the top.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Remove and let cool.

After they cool cut these into bars BEFORE you refrigerate. They will set and harden once the cool making them hard to cut.

Place in freezer for 25-30 minutes OR refrigerate for 1 hour and 30 minutes
